Overview

LRP Publications is looking for a talented Marketing Manager to help grow the awareness and attendee participation for our multi-million-dollar Federal product group and events. Based in Horsham, PA, this person will work closely with company leadership and have complete bottom-line responsibility for analyzing and executing marketing plans.

 

Our ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, anticipate needs and make adjustments, and an assertiveness to offer new ideas that will contribute to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual marketing budget
  • Develop overall marketing plan including catalogs, direct mail and email campaigns
  • Coordinate execution of the marketing plan ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality
  • Manage all related marketing initiatives, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, user-focused and current
  • Gather and analyze data to communicate and improve existing and future campaign efforts.
  • Serve as liaison with internal designers on creation of marketing campaigns
  • Write creative and compelling marketing copy
  • Create targeted lists for campaigns through segmentation of internal and external databases
  • Research the market and audience to develop successful marketing campaigns and continuously experiment to maximize results
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including Creative Services, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Meeting Planners
  • Attend and exhibit at industry trade shows  

  

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing
  • 2-3 years related work experience
  • Previous quantifiable success in managing marketing projects from end-to-end
  • Experience managing direct mail and email marketing best practices, including list management and database maintenance
  • Proficient copy-writing skills
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft applications and Adobe software
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks while remaining organized
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions while meeting deadlines
  • Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • B2B Marketing experience, highly preferred
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to change
  • Experience with a project management system/software
