We are currently looking for a talented Senior Writer/Editorw ith a background in writing technology to join our Magazine Group’s Human Resource Executive® magazine. HRE was established in 1987 and continues to be the premier publication for content that is focused on strategic issues within HR. Written primarily for Vice Presidents and Directors of Human Resources, the magazine provides key decision-makers with news, profiles of HR visionaries, and success stories of human resource innovators.
The Senior Writer/Editor is responsible for writing and editing regular features and news stories for Human Resource Executive® magazine, HRE Daily and other HRE-affiliated products. Using strong interpersonal skills, the Writer/Editor will cultivate sources for stories while generating a steady flow of story ideas for all publications. This position will also support HRE’s Webinar Series — identifying and guiding speakers as well as moderating events. Target audience includes HR leaders and others affiliated with the profession.
The position includes weekly and monthly deadlines, although some projects may require a longer time horizon. In addition, there will be a moderate level of travel, with roughly three to four business trips a year.
