Overview

Founded in 1977, LRP Publications produces some of the largest specialized conferences and trade shows in the nation, giving exhibitors the opportunity to introduce their brand and solutions to professionals across the country. We are currently looking for a Trade Show Sales Manager to sell sponsorships and vendor booth space for our conferences. This position is based in our Horsham, PA office, however candidates residing outside of the Delaware Valley area will have the option to telecommute.

 

LRP's conferences have become premiere events that brings together leading healthcare, wellness and technology vendors, experts and professional from across the country and around the world. Exhibitors and attendees collaborate and explore cutting-edge strategies and technologies that drive success. 

Responsibilities

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional ability at building rapport and generating sales revenue by selling exhibitor booth space and event sponsorships. In addition, this candidate must be able to work in a time sensitive environment and adapt to the changing needs of our clients.

 

  • Regularly conduct a high volume of outbound sales calls
  • Schedule meetings with current and potential clients to determine sales and marketing objectives, budget, and timing
  • Cultivate and close sales of exhibitor booth space and event sponsorships
  • Routinely follow up with clients to gauge level of satisfaction and evaluate future opportunities
  • Present ideas and information clearly in a professional business environment
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Work productively in a deadline-driven environment

Position Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to travel out-of-state a minimum of 5 times per year for3-5 consecutive days at a time

 

Desired Requirements:

 

  • Trade show sales experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Sharp time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilities
  • A high level of initiative and attention to detail
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to continually improve performance
  • Excellent business writing skills
