Founded in 1977, LRP produces some of the largest specialized conferences and trade shows in the nation, giving attendees an unsurpassed educational experience and giving exhibitors the opportunity to introduce their brand and solutions to HR professionals from around the globe.

 

LRP is looking for a talented, organized and creative Marketing Manager to help grow the awareness and attendee participation for two national conferences targeted to Human Resource professionals. This person will work closely with the Marketing Director and company leadership to analyze, create and execute innovative marketing plans using a wide array of marketing tactics. Our ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume of projects; write compelling marketing copy; execute email, SEO and direct mail campaigns; and an assertiveness to offer new ideas that will contribute to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing Director to create, develop and execute marketing budget and plans, define and implement campaign schedules, and manage campaign costs and resources within budget.
  • Research the market and audience to create successful audience-relevant marketing campaigns.
  • Carry out experiments to optimize marketing results.
  • Manage in-house lists, list acquisition, and assist in developing list segmentation strategies.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns end-to-end, including planning, testing, execution, reporting and optimization.
  • Develop and optimize digital marketing retargeting campaigns.
  • Implement SEO initiatives and drive key processes such as keyword research, competitive analysis, on-page optimization, meta-tag creation and more.
  • Gather and analyze data to report on how to improve existing and future campaign efforts.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather pivotal information to develop clear and relevant messaging within marketing pieces.
  • Develop creative, persuasive, and original copy in a high-volume environment.
  • Review and edit promotional materials for marketing effectiveness and quality control.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including Creative Services, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Meeting Planners.
  • Manage, mentor and develop a Marketing Coordinator.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing
  • 4 years related work experience including supervisory responsibilities
  • B2B Marketing Experience
  • Previous quantifiable success in managing marketing projects from end-to-end
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
  • An exceptional writer: capable of crafting well-written messages quickly
  • Analytical mindset with strong Microsoft Excel skills for analyzing and reporting data to then translate findings into suggestions for actionable and profitable marketing plans
  • Ability to work undertight deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft applications and Adobe software
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks while remaining organized
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

  • Experience in SEO, email marketing and digital advertising
  • Utilizing Google Analytics to monitor and measure website and email marketing effectiveness
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to change
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established workflows
  • Experience with a project management system/software
