Overview

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a talented Search Engine Marketing Strategist to join our flourishing marketing department located within our headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The primary focus of the Search Engine Marketing Strategist is to analyze, develop and execute long-term search engine marketing strategies to ensure increased digital performance, brand visibility and organic traffic. Additionally, they collaborate with our managers, content creators, and web developers to connect the dots from metadata to keywords and analytics to ensure SEM and SEO strategies align with business and brand goals.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously optimize efforts, including but not limited to: keyword research, on-page optimizations (including keyword insertion/deletion, meta data etc.) landing page optimization, and conversion optimization
  • Keep pace with search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends
  • Identify search query trends, real-time search and news media activity, popular social media topics, electronic commerce trends, market opportunities, or competitor performance
  • Distribute reports on SEO efforts based on marketing team metrics for monitoring
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
  • Regularly run web site audits to test the effectiveness of strategy
  • Examine data for traffic and engagement metrics
  • Interpret campaign performance data and reports
  • Configure website analytics to generate improvements and ideas
  • Maintain spread sheets and perform cost analysis of marketing efforts
  • Analyze data such as authority, rankings, and backlinks to inform tactics
  • Develop and implement link building campaigns
  • Implement and administer search engine programs (Google Webmaster Tools)

Position Requirements

  • BA required in Marketing, Business or related filed
  • 2+ years’ experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Certifications/qualifications in Analytics, AdWords or other key marketing platforms
  • Experience working with keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.)
  • High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources
  • Ability to conduct critical analysis and identify key insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
