LRP Publications, a division of LRP Media Group, is in search of a bright Document Formatting Assistant with strong attention to detail to join our Production team in our Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., corporate headquarters.


All applicants must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Word to qualify. The Document Formatting Assistant will learn our legal database and be taught our basic guidelines to be successful in the role. In addition, you will have the opportunity to receive basic training in HTML for posting documents to our multiple corporate websites.



We will also teach this new assistant how to replicate documents on the web. You will look at a PDF and reformat it into Microsoft Word.




  • Utilize Microsoft Word to reformat documents that include: books, pamphlets, newsletters and various documents from the Department of Education and other Federal agencies
  • Ensure that formatting specifications are consistently followed within each document, including fonts, graphics, footnotes, references, spacing, heading styles and appropriate spacing.
  • Utilize and navigate through our proprietary database software.
  • Follow and enter necessary typesetting codes for formatting purposes.
  • Meet project deadlines.

Position Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel, especially formatting
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working individually within a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to quickly learn our propriety software programs
  • Must type a minimum of 30 WPM


Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience or understanding of basic HTML
  • Prior experience working in an office environment
