LRP Media Group, an industry-leading provider of multimedia solutions for business and education professionals for over four decades, is seeking an Education Writer/Reporter (Hybrid position) for its target audience of K-12 school personnel and attorneys on our subscription-based website, Special Ed Connection®,   and accompanying print products.

The Education Writer/Reporter will develop advice-driven articles and in-depth coverage on educating students with disabilities, among other issues.

• Create daily content for Special Ed Connection® website and accompanying print products, including articles, charts, one-pagers, profiles, and features
• Interview and develop relationships with sources and subscribers, and learn about the issues that most concern them
• Brainstorm new story ideas and concepts
• Attend annual LRP Institute conference as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in communications/Journalism or related
• Experience working in a fast-paced, digital-first media environment
• Reporting and writing experience
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, which includes 2 days in our Palm Beach Gardens, FL office
• Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Proven ability to generate story ideas and interview expert sources by phone
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
